Vintage Tin’s
54-Year
Tradition of
Support
For more than half a
century, Vintage Tin of
Western Pennsylvania has
combined a love of classic
cars with a long-standing
commitment to giving
back. The organization has
been raising money at their
annual car show, Cops and
Rodders Rod Run, to support
students at WPSBC. What began
over fifty years ago as a simple
gathering among car enthusiasts
has evolved into an annual
tradition that continues to
brighten the lives of WPSBC
students year after year.
Vintage Tin first connected with
WPSBC in the early 1970s when
they established the Braille Rally,
a day that was filled with fun
and adventure for the students.
The event quickly became an
annual tradition, forming friendships
between club members and the
school community. “Back then,
we were trying to lessen the ‘hot
