WPSBC Annual Report 2024-2025 - Flipbook - Page 10
Rocco’s journey isn’t one he
takes alone. So much of his
progress has been led by Miss
Allison, who Rocco absolutely
adores. And at home, he’s
surrounded by his biggest
supporters. In addition to his
mom and dad, he is also cared
for and loved by his three older
siblings Sienna, Nolan, and Pio.
Together, they help ensure that
the lessons from the classroom
extend into the home, and
that Rocco’s world is filled
with laughter, love, and
encouragement. “Watching
him take his first steps was
unbelievable,” Sienna
remembers with a smile. “We
were all so excited and knew
how hard he worked for that.”
At WPSBC, we believe every
child deserves to grow and
learn in a place where they
feel safe, celebrated, and
cared for. Every student has a
team of educators, therapists,
and specialists who see their
potential and cheer them on.
Every goal is personal. Every
step forward is celebrated. We
hold detailed IEP meetings,
share daily progress notes, and
track data carefully. But we
never lose sight of making sure
our students are happy.
“He’s happy, and that’s all
we can really ask for,” says
Chelsea. “The skills he has
learned and continues to gain

are amazing. But the joy—that’s
the real gift. The School has
been a huge part of that.”
“When he gets off the school
bus with a big smile and a
bright face, that’s everything
to us,” Kevin agrees. “Because
there were days we didn’t
know what his future would
look like.”
Rocco’s story is just one of
many that remind us why we
do what we do. Every child
who joins WPSBC brings their
own strengths and challenges,
and every single one is equally
supported and celebrated by
our team.
“When you support WPSBC,”
says Kevin, “you’re not just
giving to a school, you’re
giving hope to families like
ours. You’re helping kids like
Rocco live fuller lives—and
lives full of happiness.”
